Atanas Petrov is a corporate lawyer and member of the Sofia BAR with a Ph.D. in company law. In addition to his distinguished academic interests, he has an active career as a university assistant professor, teaching company, private, and real estate law to both law and economics students.

With over a decade of experience, Atanas Petrov provides advanced legal services to companies in their day-to-day business operations. His areas of practice include a broad range of skills and experience in company law, M&A, corporate restructuring, private equity transactions, and fundraising. He also has significant expertise in contract law, real estate assets/construction law, administrative law, and debt recovery.

Atanas Petrov advises his clients on employment and labor law issues, including labor contracts, mass layoffs, reorganization of the workforce, and allegations of wrongful termination. He has extensive experience in litigation and administrative procedures related to employment. In addition, he has significant expertise and experience in the field of carriage of goods and freight forwarding law, including domestic and cross-border litigations for damages under the CMR convention. As a corporate lawyer with a broad-ranging practice, he is also well-versed in debt recovery and insolvency procedures.
