Can you share a personal mantra or philosophy that guides your approach to work?

In more challenging and difficult moments, I often remind myself that every challenge can be overcome gradually through multiple small steps. I have also noticed that solutions often come almost of their own at a moment when you have already invested a significant amount of effort. That’s why I believe that good luck is sometimes the result of dedication and hard work. 

Outside of the office, what are your passions or hobbies, and how do you think they compliment your work?

In my free time I enjoy reading, playing sports, and hiking. Reading helps me disconnect from everyday life and free my mind for new ideas. Sports, on the other hand, help me feel fit and healthy and stay focused when I need to. I really enjoy plants, especially cacti and succulents. They bring a nice, calm feeling to my space. I have them at home and a few at the office too.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?

“Give yourself time and be patient.” Besides a well-rounded knowledge base, law demands a life maturity that naturally develops with time and experience. Consequently, I firmly believe that professionalism is not solely shaped by hard work and academic knowledge, but also by the investment of ample time, focused attention, patience, and thoughtful consideration.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Embarking on perhaps the most adventurous journey of my life, I solo-traveled to Lyon, France at the tender age of 22, diving into an environment where not a single familiar face awaited. The linguistic barrier, presented by my lack of proficiency in the local language, posed a notable challenge, yet it became a compelling part of the journey. The trip unfolded as a vibrant tapestry of exchanges with other international students, morphing into a rich, illuminating experience that extended far beyond mere tourism. Despite being enveloped in unfamiliarity and periodically confronting challenges, I navigated through various situations with a blend of spontaneity and strategy, overcoming obstacles in a way that eventually swelled into a profound sense of pride. The successes, both big and small, that I garnered along the way did not merely stay as memories but transformed into a resilient self-assurance that I carried forward.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role and why?

The rich tapestry of my profession unfurls a rewarding journey, wherein the ceaseless learning and collaborative knowledge sharing with my colleagues stand out as particularly gratifying aspects. My role not only accords me the continuous exploration of new facets but also enables me to impart my accumulated wisdom and experiences within our team. Engaging in collaborative ventures with international clients and navigating through a myriad of diverse cases inject an intense yet enriching dynamism into my work process, forging a robust foundation that propels my development as a burgeoning professional. The involvement in multifaceted law areas, encompassing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), General Corporate matters, Real Estate, Intellectual Property (IP), and Mergers and Acquisitions, adds an exhilarating complexity and breadth to my role. Furthermore, working across various industries such as Construction, Information Technology (IT), and the emergent Web 3, is not only exciting but also provides a kaleidoscopic view of the legal landscape, enabling me to intertwine my legal expertise with diverse sector-specific challenges. I am genuinely thrilled to be immersed in such a dynamic and multifaceted environment, which perpetually propels my professional and personal growth.

What has been your most memorable case/project at the firm so far, and what did you learn from it?

One standout moment at the firm occurred shortly after my tenure began, involving a case that was intricate both factually and in legal qualifications, presenting a formidable challenge. Through collective efforts and unwavering support from my colleagues, we navigated towards the right solution. Notably, the case became a profound learning experience, teaching me the invaluable skills of team collaboration, thoughtful discussion, deliberate decision-making, and consistent approach towards resolution.
